The Hard Rock All Inclusive Collection of destination resorts set out to disrupt the status quo of all-inclusive hotels. We came on board to completely rebrand the all-inclusive hotels, and bring their irreverent rock star playground to the masses. We first set out to separate ourselves from the crowded vacation field with a mantra that noone else could claim and built the work under the “All Day. All Night. All Included.” tag. From there we lit up the stage and shared the new brand and story via social, digital, video, broadcast, B+B, trade, and events. We became best friends with all of the travel agents by giving them countless conceptual and fun assets to spread the word. We created short films for each property, and made visuals that made this irresistible destination come to life. And we spent quite a bit of time in the Caribbean capturing all of this footage. Not too bad.
With golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Hard Rock can bring their game, too. The visually trippy print ads blended golf and paradise perfectly.
Inside the Punta Cana Hard Rock Hotel, lived the Simon Mansion. An over-the-top, gourmet restaurant run by the late celebrity Rock n' Roll chef Kerry Simon: Designed to feel like a mansion with thrown chairs, a library behind the bar, private rooms with pink gun embossed wall paper and of course, an iconic portrait of Bill Murray. We designed a site then had to get people's attention and create buzz around this restaurant with zero media dollars spent. So we created a sense of mystery that comes with any mansion. The Mansion Whispers were born for social with a voice that is befitting of any rock star king in his domain.
